Are all prices in £GBP?
Yes. Every invoice, dashboard, and price shown is in pounds sterling. There is no currency conversion, no exchange rate risk, and no surprise dollar charges on your UK bank statement.
Is there a free trial?
The AI/ML Explorer plan is free forever — you only pay for GPU hours you consume. Gaming Cloud offers a 14-day free trial on the Starter plan with no credit card required.
What is pay-as-you-go vs subscription?
Pay-as-you-go means you pay per GPU hour or per player-hour with no monthly commitment. Subscriptions unlock the platform features (team workspaces, MLflow, analytics) plus reserved GPU pricing that saves up to 40%.
How does reserved GPU pricing work?
Reserve a specific GPU type for 1 or 3 months upfront and get 25–32% off on-demand rates. Reserved instances are available on all GPU tiers on the Team plan and above.
Are there egress or bandwidth charges?
The first 100 GB of egress per month is free on all plans. After that, outbound data is £0.06/GB. There are no charges for data transfer between Rooting Clouds services in the same region.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Annual plans can be upgraded mid-term.
Does VAT apply?
Prices shown exclude VAT. UK-registered businesses will see VAT applied at the current standard rate (20%) on invoices. VAT-registered businesses can reclaim this in the usual way.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, UK bank transfer (BACS/CHAPS), and direct debit for monthly subscriptions. Enterprise customers can request purchase order billing.
